Realization of prototype Reactor for bacterial fermentation “EBF PLUS”
The engineering company AGquadro has its “main topic” in the design of wastewater treatment plants, both civil and industrial. The previous experience of its specialized technicians has also allowed us to go into the design of equipment used in the field of water treatment. Therefore, concrete ideas were born that led to the construction of machines starting from the initial research phase, up to the supply, passing from the various design phases to the realization of prototypes which were then industrialized. Real examples are represented by the EBF Reactor, a reactor for the proliferation of indigenous bacterial strains, and the Poly Feeder, built for the preparation of the water-polyelectrolyte mixture necessary for the dehydration of the sewage sludge. With this in mind, in collaboration with the company NCR Biochemical SpA of Castello d’Argile (Bologna), the creation of a prototype of a pilot plant for the fermentation of selected bacterial strains always used in the treatment of waste water called «EBF PLUS>.
BRIEF DESCRPTION OF THE INTERVENTIONS:
The intervention involves the construction of a prototype of a bioreactor for bacterial fermentation, which carries out the fermentation cycle through the succession of various distinct phases. The system will be powered and controlled by an electrical panel connected to various instruments. The components necessary for the remote control and management of the entire cycle will also be housed inside the panel. This prototype, which can be managed entirely remotely and whose data will be acquired, stored and used according to the SCADA scheme, will be in line with the most modern industrial requirements thanks to the interconnection with the management software used in the company.
