BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERVENTION:

The project aims to return a sufficiently adequate infrastructure to the community which ensures objectives of an environmental nature and which guarantees adequate hygienic-sanitary conditions to the local population.

• Construction from scratch of the activated sludge purification plant serving the town of Lago (CS) serving a population of 2000 AE.

• Construction of 3 new compact plants with adherent biomass technology and compact ones of “biorulli” type (loc. Piscopie 100 AE; loc. Versaggi 200 AE; loc. Terrati 200 AE)

• Construction of new lifting stations (loc. Greci and loc. Manieri) of 400 AE each.

• Adjustment and strengthening of the Aria di Lupi – Greci – Versaggi – Manieri sewerage network

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERVENTION:

The design, both defined and executive, was carried out taking into account some decisive aspects:

The need to respond to the treatment of polluted loads on delimited and reduced areas; if on the one hand the Lago plant was drawn up favoring a known technology, on the other hand the Biorulli plants represent the most compact system for the treatment of waste water with low potential of the order of 100-200 AE.

The need to minimize the costs of disposal of sewage sludge; in particular, dewatering systems have been implemented at the 2,000 AE plant in central Lake, capable of reducing the amount of water contained in the sludge by approximately 7-8 times, easily reaching 10% of SS through the implementation of both draining bags and Highly effective to be installed on drying beds and equipment for the preparation of the highly performing polyelectrolyte water mixture in place of classic polypreparers. On the other hand, the Biorulli system, being an adherent technology, produces in itself a reduced amount of mud, considering that the excess derives from the bare film alone.

The desire to offer remote control systems also on the lifting systems so as to allow the personnel assigned to the management to intervene quickly on any disservices.

The need to minimize energy consumption for the normal operation of the plants.
